Property code: BX004

A bright, nautical property which utilises its hillside location to offer remarkable views of the English Riviera. Stylishly designed and conveniently thought out, the property comfortably sleeps five and affords the group plenty of space to relax and rewind after a long day of exploring coastal Devon.

The living, dining and kitchen space features large French doors which open out onto a balcony, meaning you can let the refreshing sea breeze through the property whilst you relax. Being an open-plan living area, you can cook a meal whilst planning the day ahead with all your party. Large windows throughout let natural light flood in, creating a bright and airy feel to the cottage. Heading up the unique 1960's open-tread staircase, a king-size master bedroom features a sea view that you’ll dream of waking up to long after your holiday ends, and a twin bedroom and compact single offer the rest of the party a restful place to sleep. The highlight of the home is the third-floor roof terrace, where an AstroTurf area has garden furniture for dining alfresco, with views across the Torbay coast stretching as far as the town of Exmouth, 36 miles away.

You’ll want for nothing throughout your stay here, only 1 mile from Brixham’s town centre and harbour. From the harbour you can take a ferry across the bay to the popular seaside resort of Torquay (9 miles), so you don’t need a car to be able to explore all that Torbay has to offer. Whilst there, check out the Agatha Christie Mile, a tour of the famous authors’ favourite South Devon spots, and relax on Meadfoot Beach (8.5 miles) in the temperate English Riviera sun. Alternatively, stick around Brixham and visit the Berry Head Nature Reserve (1 mile), which offers coastal walks alongside limestone cliffs and remarkable views of the English Channel.

  • Three bedrooms:
  • 1 king-size, 1 twin and 1 single
  • Bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC
  • TV and DVD
  • Wi-Fi included
  • Oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine, and tumble dryer
  • Electric and central heating included
  • Bed linen and towels included

  • Property is over 3 floors
  • Please note the property has a 1960's open staircase, which may not be suitable for very young children, due to the gaps in the staircase
  • Seafront, pub, and shops all within walking distance
  • Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas

A house offering stunning views of the sea and Brixham harbour. The roof garden is wonderful. Modern bright furniture in the living areas is nice. Parking is good. Many lovely walks easily accessible. The house does need attention in decor, cleanliness and presentation, which was a little disappointing.

Lovely house and beautiful views of sea. Not far to walk to the working fishing town. Steep walk back but fine. Good carparking. Lots to do, good local pubs, restaurants, cafes.

Lovely big bath towels. Some lovely artwork ! A great variety of books and games. A very comfortable and airy property with some good quality furniture and crockery with the bonus of a small coffee machine. There was enough of everything that was needed for a short break away. We stayed in Wiston Cap some years ago and it was fab then and continues to be a fab house, speedy wifi, comfy sofas, comfy beds and good views.Well appointed and for Brixham the rarity of having parking for the property. There is a Co-op a short walk/2min drive away so you don't have to go all the way in to Brxiham
