Discover Brixham’s delights with a break away in this charming parkside period cottage, where you can visit a local gin distillery, a yacht club, Brixham Harbour, and several bars, or join the South West Coast Path, all just 500 metres from your door. Walk or drive the half mile to a sheltered little shingle beach at Fishcombe; surrounded by cliffs and mature woodland, with a cafe, and adjacent to Battery Gardens, it’s a great choice for a nearby day out with family or friends. Or pack a picnic and take a trip to Berry Head National Nature Reserve, under 2 miles on foot.
At the front of the house is a stylish lounge with a bay window. This room is open to the dining area, accessed via an archway and furnished with a sizable wooden table, bench seating and a wooden panel feature wall. The kitchen is reached through double doors (which can be left open to create an open-plan effect), a painted original stone wall, a skylight and beams. The family bathroom with a beamed ceiling is found on the first floor, along with a king-size bedroom, a twin, a single bedroom and a separate WC.
Accessed via a step from the kitchen, the rear garden with its white rustic walls is a lovely spot to sit and cook BBQ food together.
